On the occasion of the European Elections 2024, the European Parliament organises two major communication events that will be broadcasted to all EU Member States: the Lead Candidate Debate and the so called 'Election night'.Given the scope and particularity of the events, the European Parliament has not the internal resources, in terms of technical capacity and specialised staff, to organise the two events. To ensure on the one hand the quality up to the current technical standards in mass media communication and on the other hand the widest possible broadcasting of such events by the major public and private broadcasters in Europe, the European Parliament needs the support of an external operator.
